Product Image Links for E-commerce

Prepare product images in a batch, review each completed result and copy the direct image URLs into catalogue fields or sheets.

Start with the catalogue row, not an automation promise

A product catalogue may ask for an image URL even when the original product photos are still on a laptop or shared drive. The useful workflow is to create one hosted result per image, keep the filename visible and copy the correct URL into the matching product field.

Media2URL’s bulk image uploader helps with the selection and queue. It does not fill Shopify, eBay or another marketplace automatically, so the catalogue owner remains responsible for matching each completed image to the right product.

Review each result before it reaches the catalogue

Select the supported images together and watch the progress shown by the uploader. Completed items expose their own link result, while a failed item needs separate attention; the whole selection should not be treated as successful just because the batch started.

Copy the direct image URL into the catalogue sheet or marketplace field when the destination expects an image response. Use the share page for a human review, and use the Image Editor first when the image needs a supported crop or resize.

  • Keep the filename-to-product mapping visible while copying links.
  • Review failed uploads before updating a listing.
  • Use direct URLs for image fields and share pages for review.
  • Check the destination’s own format and hotlink rules before publishing.

Keep the next catalogue refresh manageable

The Media Library can provide folders, tags and saved asset records where the account exposes those controls. That organization makes the next image replacement easier to find, but it does not create a marketplace synchronisation or combined link export.

File size, supported formats, monthly uploads and available processing tools depend on the active plan. If a product image is edited later, inspect the replacement or version options instead of assuming that its existing public URL will always remain unchanged.
